Life After Debt

Life After Debt

Hello, friends! It has been a while since my last post. I guess I needed a break from the blog as managing it took a lot of my spare time and at some point I decided I wanted to spend that time on something else, namely my new relationship 🙂 It has been a year since I met my partner and a little less than a year since we moved in together. I paid off my debt in December 2014 and have been debt free since then. I have built a small cushion of cash to fall back on if […]

Debt Repayment Update

Happy Friday, friends! It’s feels like I have been away forever. I have been apartment hunting and last Thursday I finally found a place to live. I am now recovering from my old financial habits, learning to appreciate every hard-earned penny and building a brighter financial future. Penny by penny. I grew up in a nice house and was sent to a good school. My parents were not rich, […]

August 2013 Debt Repayment Update

Debt Repayment Update

I’ve been waiting to write this blog post for days. In fact, I’ve been waiting for weeks. It’s this magical time of the month again when I get to make yet another payment towards my debt! Seriously, I cannot wait to get paid at the end of each month, but these days it’s for one reason alone – to keep paying off my debt so that one day in the not-so-distant future my debt is gone fo-re-ver. I really enjoy making these monthly payments and seeing my overall debt figure drop. I don’t feel sad that I can’t keep this […]
