SPEND LESS, SAVE MORE
Personally, I love having money in my bank account (and who doesn’t?). It gives me immense pleasure to log into my online banking, scroll through my savings accounts and see my money right where it needs to be – in savings, earning more money.
Building up savings does not happen overnight. It takes time and perseverance. I work hard to increase my savings by following a monthly budget, cutting my expenses, finding ways to make more money and implementing frugal habits. I applied the same principles and approach to debt elimination, and I know that it gives great results!
Whether you are eliminating debt or building up savings, you have to stick with it to see results. Making it a way of life may be one of the best things you can do in pursuit of financial independence. Think of it in the same way you think about eating healthy – it is something that needs to be practiced every day for the rest of your life because it is good for you, and your body will thank you for it. In the same way, saving money is good for your wallet!
